Women's Crisis Center provides services to victims of domestic violence, rape, sexual assault and human trafficking. Hotline crisis intervention, hospital and court advocacy, shelter for victims of domestic violence and child witnesses of domestic violence, public education and volunteer programs are a few of the many services we provide. COUNSELOR/ADVOCATE: We have openings in two locations for these positions

2. MAYSVILLE, KY
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
Under the supervision of the Rural Services Director, provides full range of crisis intervention, assessment, counseling, advocacy, and referral services to victims of domestic violence, rape, and related abuse.
Job responsibilities include:
The hours of this position are Monday through Friday, 9AM to 5PM with occasional Saturdays and evenings.
Position (1) will be located at the Hebron and Williamstown offices, serving Boone and Pendleton counties.
Position (2) will be located at the Buffalo Trace office, serving Bracken, Fleming, Lewis, Mason and Robertson counties.

Requirements for the position of Counselor / Advocates are: Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field is preferred. Good oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work well independently or in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to be flexible with work schedule. Clinical knowledge of intervention strategies of domestic violence and sexual assault a plus.
